Comments also describe any <br />enforcement aclrons taken tlunng the inspection and [tie (ads of evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an partial inspection conducted by Janet Binns of Colorado Division of IVfinerals and Geology. <br />Eckman Park and MineNo. l was a surface mine that has been reclaimed. Mine No. 2 has received final <br />bond release and was permitted under the same permit as Eckman Park and Mine No.1. The Mine site is <br />snow covered. Substantial amounts of grasses and shrubs protrude through the snowcover. Mme site <br />received a fresh snowfall on Ol/10/00 a light snowfall the night of 01/11/00. <br />Roads: Mine roads through out the Eckman Park azea are snow covered. Access to Eckman Park by mine <br />personnel is very limited during the winter months. The road to pond A was plowed. The Eckman Park <br />mine site was viewed from pond A area. <br />Hydrology Balance: CYCC has submitted a revision to the Division forretention of Pond H, and collection <br />ditches at Mine l . This revision is under review by the Division. Pond A is snow covered and holding <br />water. Two aerators were operating in the pond at the time of the inspection. Pond A was discharging. <br />Discharge flow was not measured due to ice cover on the flume. No problems were apparent at this pond. <br />No access was made to stockponds due to snow conditions. <br />General Mine Plan Compliance: Mme site appears to be in good condition for the time of yeaz. Snow cover <br />will likely remain unfit spring runoff. <br />Fish and ~Idlife: No big game animals were observed on the mine site during this inspection. <br />
