(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-iven_pe~ <br />INSPECTION DATE: u-~~_n~ INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: i n~ <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was conducted to monitor Fremont County's progress on correcting problems noted In the <br />inspections conducted on 7-17-97 and B-23-O1. Paul Garrett of Fremont County Road and Bridge Department <br />accompanied me. <br />During the 7-17-97 inspection the inspector noted that the permit boundary was diiflcult to locate and required <br />the operator to submit a survey and mark the boundgrv The county provided a survey which was received by <br />the Division on 12-3-O1 and had marked the boundary with steel fence posts. <br />During the 8-23-O1 inspection tt was noted that a sediment control berm approved for the permit had not been <br />built and that sediment from the pit would likely reach Quargmire Creek The pit floor has been graded toward <br />a sediment control pond that is properly constructed and is capturing sediment. The permit calls for <br />construction of a berm to retain material in the pit.
