III. Comments/Compliance <br />This was an aerial inspection conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG from photos taken on the <br />afternoon of Thursday, November 21, 2002, The mine site was quiet and deserted. <br />Weather was sunny. There was some snow on the ground in protected areas. <br />There was no sign of instability or erosion on the west side of Hubbard Creek. On that side, <br />vegetation is generally pretty dense. <br />The benches -both upper and lower -were devoid of snow. There was no indication of <br />instability on either bench. Much of the lower bench, along with the ditch at the base of the <br />bench, was in shadow at the time the photo was taken. <br />The upper road to the upper bench showed no sign of instability or erosion. Most of the <br />snow cover was gone from the slopes above and below the road. The lower road also <br />appeared to be stable. <br />Pond 5 contained some snow <br />Pond 4 contained snow. The embankments appeared stable in the air photos. <br />The lower access road showed no signs of instability or erosion. <br />Pond 3 contained snow. <br />The access road (Hubbard Canyon road) was in good condition. <br />
