Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Naturzl Resource Trustee <br />Re: Partial Release of the Mining and Minerals II Ltd., Joker Mine Bond, Permit No. M-1983-052 <br />Deaz Mr. Ernst: <br />Enclosed is a copy of the Division's January 28, 2004 Inspection Report_for the Joker Mine. As <br />described in this report, the Division is recommending that aII but $39, 600.00 of the current <br />$236,000.00 bond be released: Also, as noted in the report, the operator has agreed, in their financial <br />warranty document, that any financial warranty release will not take place until the Division (The <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology} receives a written letter of concurrence from the <br />managing land agency, the Bureau of Land Management. <br />Therefore, the Division is requesting that the BLM review this inspection report, and determine if you <br />agree with the recommended bond release. If you do agree, the Division requests that the BLM <br />submits a letter of concurrence to the Division. Because of Division deadlines, a response by <br />February 27, 2004 would be appreciated. <br />Should you have any questions about this request, please feel free to contact Gregg R.
