Widening and
upgrade to a haul/ttooess toad hoe been proposed for this aectim of road with Minor Revision No.
224. Approval of MR 224 is pending DMG review.
The DMG'e inspectim repot dated August 26, 199'1 states that the sediment trap far mine
discharge water has been removed from the locatim beneath the conveyor belt m the Upptr
Portal Batrlt and the mine asdrarge from this point ie rerouted to an energy diasipator elsewhere
m the mine site. MCC informed the DMG daring this inapectim that this infaematim is not
cesrcc[ and requested that the DMG clarify this in the neat Coral Inapectim Repeat. According
to MCC, this t~tr]ttneot basin beneath the conveyor belt is being worked m. A monitoring flume
will be installed at this locatim and mine water discharge will be routed as in the past to prods
M$1 or MB-2R from this locatitm.
Good progress is being made with the construction of the Refuse Pile Expansion area. The
sediment prod has been constructed and Phase lA and 1B has been coutpleted.
E~aruion c6the Material Storage Bench (MSB) by approximately 1.15 acres has been approved
through 1vGna Revision No. 220.
