<br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-198h-015 <br />INSPECTION DATE: 3-~s-na <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ~~ <br />Completed apre-operation inspection of this site pursuant to requirements of Rule 3.2(7). <br />The site is located about 2 miles east of Pueblo on the south side of Highway 96. The operator proposes to expand the <br />existing 72 acre pit to 443 acres. <br />Reviewed the existing permit area and the proposed expanded area. <br />The proposed expanded area lies north of the Arkansas river within the floodplain. The area is partially vegetated with <br />cottonwoods and willows plus a large amount of Kochia. The operator plans to stay 100 feet away from the existing north <br />bank of the Arkansas.
