The problems should be corrected by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all corrective actions taken. PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS CORRECTION DATE 1 ~ The mine identification sign was observed but was not in c:omnlianre Some affer:ted area boundary markers were in place but not enough to make the permit boundapi readily identifiable. 12 / 31 / 2002 PB or PV: PB CORRECTIVE ACTION: TOPIC(S): SM Please install a mine identification sign and adequate boundary markers per the requirements of _ _ _ Rule 3.1.12 and submit photographic documentation of compliance. Also, submit a technical revision to the permit that includes new permit maps that clarify the permit boundary location and include all mining related features associated with this operation by the correction date noted. 2. Noxious and/nr nrohlematin. weed infestation was observed within th . affected area- CORRECTIVE ACTION: A weed control plan developed in consultation with and approved by the aRp_ropriate local weed control authors must be submitted as a technical revision to this permit by the correction date noted. 3. A 55 gallon drum and a couple of 5 gallon buckets reportedly containing hazardous materials were not stored within adequate spill containment. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure these materials are stored and maintained within adequate spill containment so these materials are confined and easily cleaned up in the event of a spill.
