Dear Mr. Gallegos,
1 have had a chance to review the map you recently submitted for the above-named permit. It
time, as faz as simply depicting the locations of the boundary lines. I will have to verify the cc
the comer posts during an inspection sometime this spring.
The mapped boundary locations and the marker placement were, I assume, determined througl
some identifiable or locatable point. Did you use one of the fencelines? I notice that the map
the original one, which was previously submitted during permit application. This is fine, since
entire property and some surrounding fencelines. What would be nice to see depicted, howeve
currently existing features, such as the gate, the old pile of fine reject material, and the margin:
north end. If you could draw those in, it would be better. This does not have to be done imme
prepared and submitted with the next annual report.

original map you sent) the total area I found to be about 9.67 acres. Let me know if you find error in this
estimate. My total acreage figure brought a question to mind, however, which involves includ ng any acreage for
an access road spur connecting the county road to the stockpile area. Is there the need to inclu e any such road in
the permitted area? Use and disturbance of such an azea may require that it be permitted and ltimately reclaimed.
