A Phase I bond release for <br />the loadout (14.5 acres) was granted and the bond reduced to $914,443. <br />Subsidence monitoring was last conducted 1/98 and is done semi-annually. The report is <br />submitted to DMG yearly. Vegetation monitoring was last conducted 3/24/98. An extension <br />was given to submit the 1997 Annual Reclamation Report. <br />Sedimentation pond construction certifications: <br />I.oadout ponds #I-1983, #2-1992 <br />Mine Area #1,2, and 3-1987, #4 and 5-1984. #4 was recertified 1992 because of a <br />spillway modification. <br />Waste Pile certification was last done 4'~ quarter of 1997. Compaction testing is done semi- <br />annually. It was last done 3rd quarter of 1997. Construction certifications for [he waste piles aze <br />dated 10/82, 7/84, and 8/93. The surrounding ditches were certified 10/90 and 7/92. <br />A relevant showing for the haul road was done because the road was built in 1982. <br />NPDES CO-0036595 expires 6/2001. DMR's are current through the 4'" quarter of 1997 as are <br />the pond inspections. Ponds #2 and 3 do not receive surface water inflows. Groundwater <br />monitoring a[ five locations is current through [he Is` quarter of 1998. <br />Field <br />The explosives area had a piece of silt fence that did not have the end buried as necessary. <br />
