III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE ~,,, ~~ Cog ~ ~~ <br />P~yi i3~x~of~ <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcemenf acfion. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Twin Pines Mine conducted by Jim Stark of CDMG. <br />The bond for this site was forfeited after reclamation was completed. The weather <br />was cold and sunny and the ground was dry. <br />The portal area is well vegetated and in good condition. The upper part of the road <br />is showing some minor rilling but it is also beginning to fill in with vegetation. The <br />remaining highwall appears to be stable and in good condition. The remaining <br />sediment pond was dry. The pond was well vegetated. <br />The coal sales/tipple area was well vegetated and in good condition. The remaining <br />sediment pond contained a small amount of at the bottom. The pond appeared to <br />be well vegetated and in good condition. The access road is a county road, which <br />was well maintained and in good condition. <br />Overall both areas at the Twin Pines Mine are in good condition. <br />
