(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn-~ 99Zf~5d
INSPECTION DATE: S-R-n~ INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: inn
OBSERVATIONS
This monitoring inspection was made primarily to check the adeauacv of the reclamation bond. Agile Stone
Protect) accompanied the inspectors.
The perimeter of the gravel operation was driven and the affected lands appear to be within the permit
boundary. The small area of initial granite quarry development was observed. No problems were noted at that
location.
There are three large stockpiles of material. in the gravel operation area, that are considered product piles. It
was decided that costs associated with removal of these materials would not be considered in determining
whether the bond is adeauate, since they have value rather than being a reclamation liability.
Reclamation of the gravel pit area, as it now stands, would consist of grading the high-walls: some additional
sit~ading; spreading the topsoil, which is stockpiled near the pit, and re-vegetation. Only one Initial blast has
been conducted at the granite quarry site. Minor site grading, topsoil spreading and re-vegetation would be
required at that location. The Inspectors agree that the present financial warranty of S276.700.00 is adequate to
cover the cost of reclamation. in the permit area's present condition.
No environmental or other hazards were noted. It appears that the operation is in compliance with the permit
and regulations.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Larry Harkins.
