The prajed propoacnt and applicant is Gear Creek <br />District Water Provrders 1I.C, 5560 Quebx Street, Suite 110, Greenwood Vdlago, Colorado. <br />Douglas Momtain 1:<ligg No. 1, a resideatiat area, is located immediately east of the proposed mining . <br />facility. We are adamantly opposed m We eonstrwction and operation oftbis or ae4` other mixing facility <br />of this type is this area. We have had dbect experieaco withthe impacts associated with flu: opetatiori of <br />the Albert Frei dt Sons Quarry on IJS b in Clear Creek Cegyon. Nono ofihe regulations associated with <br />the operation of this facility have peen enforced hl'the State of Colorado, setting a very poor example of <br />ruck mining is this sensitive region.
