San Juan
County would like for the deadline for the revised reclamation and mining plan to
August 15, 2004 or later so that the stability study can be completed and the
reclamation plans revised and an extension of the deadline for the maps etc. until
June 28, 2004.
San Juan County has put up a sign warning the public of the potential danger of
of County road #25's edge sloughing off or sliding away. The county has been
monitoring this hazard for several years. The county is having more adequate
signs made up to address this problem. The county does not fell that the danger
to the pubic of this road edge sloughing away is a critical issue at this time but all
measures will be taken to mitigate this problem and that any and all
recommendations form Minerals and Geology will be welcomed and applied to
this problem.
Than You,
G~
Lows Girodo
Road Overseer
