Since that
inspection the necessary corrective actions have been taken.
1. Road Drainage Design - This has been done and should be submitted
to your office today by Kiowa Engineering.
2. Berm Break Near Shop - Additional material has been placed at t'ie
described location and should prevent water from leaving this area.
3. Culvert HR-2 - This culvert has been cleaned out. With the
changes introduced at the sediment basin this problem should be redu.ed.
4. Sediment Basin Edge - The small roadside ridge which was hindering
the ability of water to flow into the pond has been graded. Castle is
considering installing a more "permanent" outlet system between the
safety rocks that would direct the water into the pond more smoothly and
would be minimally affected by grading the road which produces the small
ridge.
5. Sediment Basin Entrance - This area has been reshaped and has peen
covered with rip rap so water will flow more smoothly into the uphill
side of the first pond.
Respectfully,
Mark A. Heffner
cc: Gordon Morgan
