III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations
made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during
the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
This was an aerial inspection of the HG Loadout. The photographs were taken by
Harry Ranney of CDMG. The report was written by Jim Stark of CDMG. The weather
appeared to be clear and dry.
The access road and truck loop appeared to be stable and in good condition. One
can see from the photographs that the road is beginning to fill in with vegetation
from lack of use. The road to the loadout tower also appears to be stable. It too is
filling in with vegetation from a lack of use.
The truck loop pond (pond 1) contained water but it appeared to be well below the
high water mark, The pond appeared to be well vegetated and in good condition.
The loadout loop pond (pond 2) appears to be dry. The pond appears to be well
vegetated and in good condition. The riprapped spillway of the pond also appears
to be in good condition.
The parts of the loadout loop itself that are visible in the pictures appear to be stable
and well vegetated. In the photographs two deer or elk can be seen grazing on the
loadout loop pond.
Overall, from the photographs, the site looks like it is in good condition.
