The following are
observations of this 400-acre 112 site.
1) Signs and boundary markers (fencing and stakes) are in place as required by the Rules.
2) Most of this site is currently unexcavated and being farmed by the landowner, with the
exception of 25 acres in the northwest corner. The width of the area was measured with a
measuring whe=_el (1040') and the length estimated as being approximately equivalent. A 4 to
6 acre area cf water has been exposed (440' wide) with 10' highwalls and 1H:iV slopes running
the western boundary of the excavation, along the edge of the site.
3) A topsoil stockpile measuring 390'x12'x19' is stored along the northern boundary, and 5'
piles of top:aoil are also stored above the slopes of the western highwalls.
4} Most of the 25-acre disturbance---approximately l5 acres---is primarily a storage area for
farm equipment and stockpiles of materials that may or may not be connected to the old
excavation. Only about 10 acres can be directly attributed to mining activities.
No processing or excavating is taking place at the site at this time.
The bond will be recalculated based on the current level of disturbance. No problems appear
present at t:ze site at this time.
I & E Conta c~t Address
NAME Julie Goettemuller
OPERATOR Western Mobile Northern Inc.
STREET 1590 'N. 12th Ave
CITY/STATE/ZIP Denver, CO 80204
cc: Carl B.
