ORIGINAL-PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: nn_Igstn_~ne <br />INSPECTION DATE: nl r~~/ne INSPECTOROS INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site on 1/22/04. <br />Present during the inspection were Mark Tidquist and Phil Barnes of CC&V. <br />Inspected the Phase I, II, III AND IV pregnant solution collection areas <br />and recorded the following readings from the high and low volume solution <br />collection transducers. <br />Phase I HIGH VOLUME SLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 1 WAS RECORDED AT 33.0 <br /># 2 WAS AT 36.4 AND # 3 WAS AT 38.3. LOW VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION <br />TARNSDUCER # 1 WAS RECORDED AT .22 AND # 2 WAS AT .47. <br />PHASE II HIGH VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRABSDUCER # 4 WAS RECORDED AT <br />37.9 # 5 WAS AT 40.2 AND # 6 WAS AT 41.4. LOW VOLUME TRANSDUCER # 1 WAS AT <br />.18 AND # 2 WAS AT .52 (ALL READINGS ARE IN FEET OF HYDROSTATIC HEAD UNLESS <br />NOTED) PIEZOMETER WAS AT 40.5 FEET <br />PHASE IV HIGH VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 7 WAS RECORDED AT <br />15.5 # 8 WAS AT 15.6 #9 WAS AT 15.7 AND # 10 WAS AT 16.1. <br />LOW VOLUME # 1 WAS AT 15.6 AND # 2 WAS AT 6.7 INCHES OF HYDRSTATIC HEAD. <br />Mr. Barnes stated that CC&V had purchased another 3 horse power pump as an <br />auxiliary and is kept in close proximity, in house, in case they have to <br />replace the one being utilized at the time of the inspection. <br />Inspected the external pond, it was holding some water which appeared <br />frozen. While in the area, collected the following readings from the low <br />volume solution collection transducers. Transducer # 1 was recorded at 10.2 <br />and # 2 was at 11.9. <br />Inspected the under drain area, both the south and 4 inch pipes were <br />discharging at a trickle, no problem noted. <br />Discussed briefly about the application of Ammonia into the pad and where <br />CC&V were in terms of collecting the data for our scheduled discussions. <br />Mr. Barnes stated that CC&V was in the process of determining the need to <br />apply the additional ammonia, and was not sure if they were going to apply <br />it anymore. He also stated that the last time such application took place <br />was in early October.
