III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussions of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments in Section IV describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts <br />or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a joint inspection by Jim Stazk and Byron Walker, Environmental Protection Specialists <br />(EPS),from the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. Mr. Stark succeeds Mc Walker as the <br />EPS assigned to this Permit effective 1 Apri12004. <br />There was no appazent change in reclamation of the site from the previous inspection. <br />Items of concern from previous inspections: None. <br />Availability of Records The location of records on file at the Gazfield County Court House was <br />validated. <br />Hydrologic Balance The ground was damp at the site. There was no evidence of surface runoff. There <br />was no dischazge from the portal drainpipe. <br />Reclamation Success Reclamation has been successful. Remaining reclamation work was discussed <br />with Mr. Self, including the removal of the v-notch flume on the culvert under the highway. <br />c-84-063, Page _3_ of _4_ Pages, (date) _l2 April 2004_, (initials) _BGW <br />
