(Page 4)
MINE ID #OR PROSPECTING ID# M-2001-054
INSPECTION DATE 517103 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO
There is no topsoil on the site, and there is no requirement to strip and stockpile topsoil for reclamation. Part of the approved
mining plan, however, requires the operator to establish a revegetation test plot during the mining stage,so that revegetation
feasibility on pitrun and reject material can be assessed. No such plot yet exists, but the revegetation to be carried out on the
backfilled highwall in the north buffer, the portion of north road area on the buffer, and cleared area of the south road may be
used to satisfy this requirement.
The bond was calculated at the time of permit application approval. In view of the present level of disturbance beyond the
approved amount, a new bond calculation will be performed, and the new figures sent to the operator. At this time, there is no
problem noted for the bond amount.
There were no additional items observed or discussed.
