(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: roI-i9Rn-~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: >>-~R-ni INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: aK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site on 11/28/01. The area had received <br />approximately 3-4 inches of snow the day before and most of the permit area was covered with it. Present <br />during the inspection was Mr. Tim Comer, of CC&V. Inspected the phase I and Phase II leach pad areas, and <br />collected the following readings from the High and Low volume solution collection transducers. <br />Phase I high volume transducer # 1 was not functioning, # 2 was recorded at 21.0 and # 3 was recorded at <br />23.4 (feet of head) and the auxiliary piezometer was recorded at 34.4 (feet): <br />The low volume transducer # 1 was recorded at .13 and # 2 was recorded at .26 feet of head <br />Phase II high volume transducer # 4 was recorded at 18.2, #5 was recorded at 25.4 and # 6 was at 29.5 <br />feet of head. Auxiliary piezometer was recorded at 31.7 feet. <br />The low volume transducer # 1 was recorded at .12 and # 2 was at .16 feet of head. <br />According to Tim, both transducers and pumps for the external pond should be in place as soon as possible. <br />At present only one of the sump pump was operational. Storm water stored in the pond was being pumped <br />into the ARD building at the time of the inspection. No major problem noted. <br />Observed what looked like dump removal activity along the North western margins of the permit area . <br />Operator was notified of the existence of a permitted operation inclose proximity of where the activity was <br />taking place and to make sure adequate storm water protection is in place to protect disturbed drainage <br />from impacting the dry gulch. Operator agreed to make sure the appropriate control measures. No major <br />problem noted. <br />Inspected the Iron Clad Globe Hill area. The new truck shop is completed and the new explosives mixing <br />building should also be completed with in the next week or so.
