III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an complete inspection of the Hamilton Mine for the month of November, 1996. <br />RECORDS: Records were inspected and found to be satisfactory. See page 5 of this report for <br />further details. <br />ROADS: The roads are satisfactory and will not need any maintenance for the winter. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: All ditches and culverts are clear and capable of functioning as <br />designed. Pond B was dry but pond A had approximately 1-2 feet of water in but it was not <br />discharging. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS: The site's vegetation has not done well due to the drought like <br />conditions the past two years, however, the Division will reassess the need to reseed this <br />coming fall. Due to the lack of competing grasses, the four-wing salt brush community has <br />prospered. <br />
