The plan includes mechanical and chemicalrriethods ~ - " <br />of control and will be reviewed and amended as necessary on an annual basis. <br />The noxious weeds identified to be controlled are; Diffuse Knapweed, Dalmation Toadflax, <br />Musk Thistle and Canada Thistle. <br />DIFFUSE KNAPWEED Centaurea diffusa Lam. <br />March - Apri12005 Diffuse Knapweed covers approximately 66% of the property. To treat this <br />extensive infestation aerial application will be the first step using: <br />Tordon 22k 1.5 pint per acre <br />2,4-D 4# 2 pints per acre <br />September -October 2005 Monitor and provide spot herbicide treatment to all infested areas <br />using: <br />Nonsensi[ive Areas <br />Tordon 22k _ 1.5 pint per acre _ _ _ _ <br />2,4-D 4# 2 pints per acre <br />Aquatic Labeled 2,4-D or Transline for areas around wetlands <br />Sensitive Areas <br />Transline 1 pint per acre <br />or Redeem R&P 2 pints per acre <br />CANADA THISTLE Cirsisum arvense (L.) Scop. and MUSK THISTLE Carduus nutans L. <br />Late Mav-Early June 2005 and Late September - EarlyOctober 2005 Canada Thistle and Musk <br />Thistle will be controlled using mowing and chemical treatment.
