<br />III. Comments -Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforce- <br />ment actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting <br />the enforcement action. <br />On December 2, 1993 a complete inspection was conducted at the Apex No. 2 <br />mine. This mine is undergoing reclamation. The inspection commenced at 9:00 <br />am at the Routt County courthouse. The Cierk and Recorders Office opens at <br />8:30 am. At the time of this inspection a facility representative was not present. <br />Records were checked at the Routt County Courthouse. All records were well <br />maintained and up to date. The mine site inspection started at 13:00. At this <br />time the snow was letting up. The ground was covered with about a foot of <br />snow. Snow cover prevented observations of reclamation vegetation success. <br />Ditches and culverts were buried under snow. No problems were noted. <br />
