<br /> <br />(attached) identifies proposed modifications to the channel bottom <br />width and corresponding riprap sizes along the base of the waste <br />rock dump. <br />Homestake believes incorporation of the above design criteria <br />into the Windy Gulch drainage will more than meet our obligations <br />to minimize disturbances to the prevailing hydrologic balance of <br />the affected land and surrounding area (Rule 6.2 Mineral Rules and <br />Regulations). As other reclamation activities are nearly complete <br />at the site, we would appreciate your concurrence with the proposal <br />presented in this letter at your earliest convenience.
