<br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M- 1985-200 <br />INSPECTION DATE 09/16/03 <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS GRS <br />This was an inspection of the Kula Pit conducted by Gregg Squire of the Division of Minerals <br />and Geology. The operator was represented by Dan Royal, the Morgan County Road Supervisor. <br />Weather conditions on site were clear and hot. A permit sign is posted at the entrance to <br />the pit, but is damaged and should be repaired. This is a small water-filled pit which has <br />not been operated for many years. Most of the site is well vegetated with grasses, forba and <br />trees and would not need any revegetation, however there are areas of the pond banks which <br />are too steep to meet the Division standards for permit release.
