• (Page 2)
MINE ID # Cjj2 PROSPECTING ID # M-94-117
INSPECTION fDA1~ 09 2$ 98 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK
i') OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was done to check the sub-grade of the pond expansion prior to liner
installation. The following observations were made while inspecting the area:
1) A sharp edge on the interim anchor dam would have to be covered with more soil and sand
prior to liner installation; the rock was too large to remove.
2) Mcst of the rocks seen on previous occasions had been removed, but the pond area still
needed raking and several smaller rocks taken off the area.
3) Debris and the organic material had (by and large) been removed from the Phase I area.
Cattails and reeds still remained in the Phase II (old pond) area, however.
4) Several sharp edges on the south and north slopes would need covering as well as the one
on. the interim dam.
5) Th.e edges of the interim dam were soft and shallow enough for liner installation at this
time; some of the edges along the anchor trench above the pond, however, would need to be
softened.
6) 'T'opsoil and excess waste rock had been stored above and beyond the anchor trench.
I & E; Contact Address
NAME Maxine Stewart
OPERATOR ITEC Environmental
STREET 707 17`" Street, Suite 310
CITY/STATE/ZIP Denver, Co 80202
cc: Carl B.
