The earth-bermed diesel tank will have an impermeable liner
installed under it. Monitoring sites are being maintained and used for the data collection reported each year. The water
treatment plant (WTP) structure is in good condition, though it is no longer used regularly. The sediment pond level is
maintained fairly low presently, which along with recent repairs to the dam, has reduced the amount of seepage to nothing.
The dam and pond continue to be monitored, since the water management carried out at this location of the permit is one
of the main aspects of the ongoing reclamation here.
This inspector appreciates the operator's time spent during the inspection, the ongoing reclamation work carried out, and
the quality of the annual reports submitted to this office.
The South Pit and Tie Camp Creek Dump were not inspected during this visit. There were no additional items observed
or discussed. No problems exist at this time. All responses or questions about this inspection report should be directed
to this inspector at the Division's Durango Field Office.
