However the actual plan preparations have not progressed to
a point where we are able to know exactly how much right of way will be
needed for the interchange. However, it will necessarily occupy a small
portion in the SE corner of the E 1/2 of Sec. 19, T. 22 S., R. 47 W.,
which is the area which Valco Inc. proposes to open a gravel pit.
One of the Department's representatives has contacted Valco Inc.
and at this time it appears that there is a possibility that there will
be no conflict in our respective operations. However, the Department
does request that Valco keep them advised even tho plans for the inter-
change are insufficiently developed to request that a specific area be
reserved. We hope that this provision can be incorporated into their
permit to begin mining.
Very truly yours,
E. N. HAASE
Chief Engineer
sy
GFW:rr Geo. F.
