III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below ore comments on the inspection. fie comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions token tluring the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement cction <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS The mine identification sign of the enironce of the rood to the Stoney <br />Ridge Air Shaft Is in disrepair. Signs on Forest Service Road 306 (Middle Thompson Creek <br />Road) were not noted during this inspection. Disturbance boundary signs over Stoney Ridge <br />and the river terrace ai the rood-out were not checked. Other signs and markers were in <br />place and were in good repair. <br />HYDROLpGIC BALANCE There wos no surface runoff at the sit©. There was up to six inches of <br />snow rn shaded portions of the site. There wos mine water discharge from both Portal 1 and <br />Portal 3. Flow at the discharge from Pond T-2 wos 5 gal/ 11 seconds. The stock tank pump <br />hod been removed from Pond T-2. There was no water in Pond P-9 or the refuse area <br />sedimentation pond. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES Although the sites wore covered with snow and ice, me flume bases on <br />both North Thompson Creek and Middle Thompson Creak appeared to have been <br />removed.
