II1. Comments/Compliance <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG on the morning of <br />Wednesday, February 18, 2004. The site was quiet and deserted. Weather overcast and <br />cold. <br />Hubbard Creek was frozen over in the vicinity of the mine. <br />2004 2 1H <br />The road to the site was dry and in good repair In the area of the Blue Ribbon Mine itself, <br />the road is in very good condition. <br />The old coal stockpile area was covered with 18 - 24 inches of snow. <br />Pond 3 contained trees and willows and several feet of drifted snow. The discharge <br />structures were clear and there was no sign of instability on the embankments. <br />Pond 5 contained snow. The discharge structures were in good repair. <br />All the signage was erected and in place. The road and gate to the site was in good repair <br />and the gate was locked. (photo) <br />
