While a proper sign was posted at the entrance to the pit, boundary m rkers were missing, <br />which made checking the disturbed area difficult, especially in light of he corrected survey <br />map. This must be remedied within 30 days. <br />2. Approximately 7.9 acres of the site appears to disturbed at thi~ time; 2/3 of the <br />disturbance ie the pond, while 1/3 ie the topsoil and overburden storage rea. Enough topsoil <br />is stored at the Bite to complete reclamation at this time. <br />3. Weeds have moved into the area, specifically, kochia and cheatgraes. While they are not <br />the dominant species yet, the Operator may wish to take steps to prevent f rther encroachment <br />from opportunistic species. <br />4. Sloping on the south and west aides is adequate; however, eloping al< <br />berm on the north and eas t aide will have to be flatt ened prior to final ~ <br />No other problems noted at this time. <br />I & E Contact Address cc: Carl B.
