This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Minerals and Geology's monitoring program. Present at the <br />inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG and Rich Schrorer, Grand County Road and Bridge. Weather at the time of the <br />inspection was clear, breezy, and approximately 65 degrees. <br />2. A sign was posted at the entrance to the site and the boundaries were marked. At the time of inspection, approximately 10 <br />acres had been disturbed at the site, and all of the disturbance is contained within the permit boundaries. Of the 10 disturbed <br />acres, one slope has been reclaimed. Topsoil was stockpiled parallel to the roadway. The topsoil stockpile has been seeded <br />and the vegetation present on the pile is brown. Vegetation on the south side of the stockpile is sparse, and Mr. Schrorer <br />indicated that this area would be reseeded. Runoff at the site appears to be contained within the permit boundaries. Noxious <br />weeds were not present at the site. <br />3. All activities and completed work at the time of inspection appeared to be following the guidelines set forth in the mining <br />plan for the pit.
