This is not regarded as <br />a noxious weed under state law, but does pose a problem~to grazing sheep in particular. This item is noted in this report to inform <br />the landowner, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, and for the operator to be aware that certain practices may be required to control <br />the spread of the weed. <br />The dump material was inspected for occurrence of sulfide minerals, but none was observed. There wa:~ a very small amount of <br />U-V mineralized material on the surface. There is no portal discharge and no water impounded or encountered at the site. <br />Stormwater drainage controls have been graded around the toe of the dump slopes and ponds constricted below the dumps; <br />roadway drainage is adequate and berms line the margins of all dump pads. <br />At the time of this inspection, there were no problems observed.
