III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Blue Flame Mine conducted by Tom Gillis of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. <br />The repaired subsidence feature at the top of the portal area was inspected and appeazed to be intact with no <br />additional subsidence evident. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There are no ponds or ditches on the site <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS <br />No problems were found at the site during this inspection. Despite some fairly heavy rains over the weekend, no <br />rills or gullies were evident on the regraded mine bench & access road cuts. With the exception of the area <br />disturbed in May 2004, revegetated areas have good cover and shrub density. Gambel's oak appeazs to be <br />gradually spreading into a majority of reclaimed surfaces from adjacent undisturbed areas. <br />
