The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />DATE <br />1. The reclamation plan does not adequately address protection o£ PB or PV:PH <br />the La Poudre riverside banks from slides or damage as a result TOPIC(S):BG <br />of the mining or reclamation operations. Under the Construction 12-11-02 <br />Material Rules and Regulations, areas outside of the affected <br />land shall be protected from slides or damage occurring during <br />the mining and reclamation operation [C.R.S. 34-32.5-116(4)(1)]. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br />The operator will need to file a revision to the permit to <br />adequately address stability of the La Poudre riverside bank where <br />flood waters enter and leave the East Rigden Pit. Revision must <br />be submitted by December 11, 2002. <br />2. The East Ridgen Pit is currently underbonded. The Division <br />estimates a cost for reclamation at $377,268.00 (currently the PB or PV:PH <br />Division holds $52,350.00). TOPIC(S):BG <br />12-11-02 <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br />The operator will need to post an additional $325,000, revise the <br />reclamation plan, or conduct some reclamation by December 11, <br />2002. <br />
