III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Co,...,~ ~ eteu~- <br />This was an aeazl} inspection of the Ohio Creek Coal Mine #2 for the month of July, 2001. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The site is stable and shows little signs of erosion. The pond had a trace <br />amount of water in it and was not discharging. The pond is capable of functioning as designed. <br />General Mine Compliance: The mine is relatively stable as far as erosion is concerned and if grazing <br />were to be significantly reduced for 3-4 years, the site would be as productive as the adjacent <br />undisturbed areas. <br />Reclamation Success: The site is still recovering from the heavy grazing last fall. <br />
