Long <br />Division Direcmr <br />Gunnison CO 81230 <br />Re: Nicolas Brothers Pit, Permit M-91-104, Submittal of Noxious Weed Control Plan, Problem Abated. <br />Dear Ms. Crosby, <br />Today I received the weed control plan for the above-named pit, prepared and submitted on your behalf by Adena <br />Green, Gunnison County Weed Coordinator. I appreciate the detail and background included in the plan. I know <br />the county is monitoring and treating this site, and now this Division has a better idea of the overall weed control <br />task at that location. <br />The plan appears to address what we were requesting. The submitted plan has abated the problem noted in the <br />Division's 8/13/99 inspection report. Of course, we will continue to watch for effective control of the identified <br />weeds during future inspections, and notify you of anything we observe. <br />For the record, [want to let you know that I consider the noxious weed control plans I have received from Ms. <br />Green to consistently be concise and well written and, I expect, will of great value to this office while we watch <br />these sites in coming years. <br />Thank you again for the submitted weed control plan.
