I do want to thank you for sending Deb out here to
investigate the loss of our surface water because of the mining operations. I
was not able to meet with her because I was teaching that day. However she
and my wife did have a nice visit.
We are getting along fine now, but come next summer, all of our trees
and lawns will surely die without water, just like all of those trees in first
creek died. Unfortunately it doesn't do much good when we talk to the
gravel companies. When you people talk to them, they will listen to you.
I would greatly appreciate it if, Deb, could write me a short note telling
me about her visit. When she had her meeting, where she met, who was at
her meeting and what was discussed? It would also help if she would write
letters to the Gravel Companies stating what is expected of them. It was
certainly great of her to come out here. Hopefully, maybe something good
will come from her meeting.
Thanks again for your help.
Sincerely,
Bud & Grace colt
13185 Brighton Road
Brighton, CO. 80601
