(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-83-141 <br />INSPECTION DATE D8/14/02 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS ESC <br />This was an inspection of the Cash Who Do Mine conducted by Erica Crosby and Kate Pickford <br />of the Division of Minerals and Geology. The operator and landowner was not present <br />during the inspection. <br />Mark Steen became the permittee contact person for ITEC starting in May of 2001. Mr. <br />Steen is also the landowner of the property associated with the Gold Hill Mill, Cash/Who <br />Do Mine and portions of adjacent lands. <br />No mining was taking place during the inspection. The Cash mine dump area was stable, and <br />no major erosion features were noted. The Who Do Mine portal was locked and secured. No <br />problems were noted. <br />The operator applied for a Temporary Cessation Application ("TC") on September 8, 1999. <br />The Division requested additional information regarding the application in three letters <br />dated September 30, 1999, December 30, 1999 and September 26, 2001. The operator <br />requested an indefinite extension of the decision due date to resolve corporate issues. <br />At this time, the Division is requesting the operator to address the status of the TC <br />application.
