Land disturbances associated with mining provide <br />corrditiorra conducive to the invasion and spread of a number of undeairabk plant <br />species. <br />This guide has been developed to provide guidance ao the management the of noxious <br />weeds on reclaimed arras and other areas that maybe affected by mining activities, due <br />to the lack of specific direction in the Aa and Regulations. 71u purpose of the <br />guideline is to set forth Hoard policy based on the Board= interpretation of the Act, <br />Ragalationa, and common sense, far the effective control of noxiow weeds at permitted <br />mine sites.
