(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1995-057 <br />INSPECTION DATE: 9/12/03 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS GRM <br />This inspection was conducted as part of the normal monitoring program established by the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology . The Rudibaugh Pit is located on County Road 76, 6 miles north of Pazlin, Colorado. <br />The inspector did not contact the permitee as the inspection was done out of a matter of convenience when extra <br />time was available between other scheduled matters in the azea. The inspector by chance made contact with the pit <br />operator, Warren Wilcox. <br />The mine identification sign and affected azea boundary mazkers aze in place and in compliance with Rule 3.1.12. <br />The sign is located at the main access to the pit. A lazge double stock gate that is locked controls access, <br />Permit boundaries aze cleazly distinguished by fence lines, t-posts and day-lighted edges to the south. <br />The overall site is very well maintained. Several stockpiles of various sized materials were observed. Each <br />stockpile had a stake identifying the type of material and was sepazated from the others. A backhoe was noted on <br />site neaz one of the stockpiles with evidence of recent materials handling. <br />No highwalls were observed. All slopes appeaz to be 2H:1 V or better. Topsoil appeazed to be segregated and <br />protected. <br />No excess debris or trash was noted on site. There is a portable fuel tank on a skid that appeazed empty and had no <br />staining or contamination of soils noted. <br />No noxious or annual weeds were noted within the pit floor or boundary azeas. There is currently no reclamation <br />noted other than the maintenance of proper slopes. <br />The Financial Warranty was recalculated in 2002.
