(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-i9an-~aa <br />INSPECTION DATE: in-na-m INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site while in the <br />area attending an open house. Present during the inspection were Bruce <br />Humphries, Division program Supervisor and Phil Barnes, of CC&V. <br />The inspection began near the Iron Clad Globe Hill area, Phil, pointed out <br />the new truck shop and AMFO building that was part of the Amendment # 8 <br />Board approved expansion. No problem noted. <br />Phil explained about the additional measures CC&V WAS under taking to lower <br />the nitrates leaching out from the almost decommissioned pads, in the area. <br />As reported in earlier inspection reports, the pads have been seeded and <br />once the vegetation is established it should lower the nitrates. With the <br />exception of nitrates, which has a surface water discharge parameters, <br />prior to the pad being completely decommissioned, all other parameters <br />appeared to have met the set standard. No problem noted. <br />Inspected the East Cresson pit area, it was active, at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />Inspected the Phase IV area, backfill and grading work was continuing. The <br />PSSA area appeared to have been all lined, with geomembrane, no major <br />problem noted. <br />Inspected the new crusher area, it was active.
