Compl_'ance :+ith Colorado Surface Coal :fining Reclamation Act <br />CRS 1973, as amended 34-33-101, a sev., <br />and t a _- <br />Ru_es and Regu:a ti cns Issued 2urs uant to the Act <br />This includes a Ii sting of the particular provisions of the regulatory program which were <br />examined during `te'e course of this inspection, and identif_'es enforcemeiPt actions taken <br />during the inspection for failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations, the Act and <br />the permit. <br />9.02 Signs and Markers <br />Appropriate signs were in place at the mine entrance and on topsoil stockpiles. <br />Perimeter markers were not checked during this inspection. <br />9.03 Roads <br />All roads appeared to be properly maintained. Vegetation should be cleared from <br />drainage ditches. Culverts were clean. . <br />4.05 Hydrologic Balance <br />There was no water in either sediment pond. Both ponds were apparently well <br />maintained and cleaned of sediment. <br />4,06 Topsoil <br />The third topsoil stockpile is still active and not yet seeded. AlI other stock- <br />piles have good cover established. <br />4.15 Revegetation <br />Cover is establishing on the old Farmers Mine, but it is patchy. No active tilling <br />or gullying is evident on this reclaimed slope. <br />
