The site in question ie
currently under debate for a requested change in poet-mining land use (to residential from
pasture).
1. No signs with the permit numbers on them were visible. These should be posted within 30
days.
2. The fencing around the site serves as the boundary markers on the north Bide; however, it
ie recommended that more south aide markers should also be placed.
3. There appear to be no problems with this site, although it is far from reclaimed. Pre-law
mining ie visible along the western ridge under the powerlines. At this time, the landowners
and the operator are negotiating about who will do the final reclamation, because the
landowner wishes to place houses on the site, and needs the ground compacted more thoroughly
than ie required of the operator by their permit.
4. Topsoil is stockpiled and revegetated; some grading has been done, although a great deal
more remains to be completed; horses wander onto the property from the nearby riding school.
Since the inspector had not previously planned on inspecting this Bite, the file was not
available for review at the time of the inspection. Because of this omission, this should not
be classified as a complete inspection.
I & E Contact Address
NAME Michael Leidich
OPERATOR Robinson Brick Co.
STREET P.O.
