Sheltod/ /G~
RE: Field Inspection, September 12, 1984
I met Bob Niemela at 3:45 in the afternoon at the guard gate. Jim Moore joined
us and we proceeded up to the affected area. Major activities observed at the
site include: 1) The rolled concrete construction dam is essentially complete
on Middle Fork; 2) A new channel is being constructed at the base of the mine
bench to carry the flow of Middle Fork; 3) The crusher hole in the mine bench
is being filled with some of the excess spoil from road construction, and 4)
Reclamation is continuing on some of the roads which are no longer being used.
The company will be submitting their amendment to the application in
approximately 2 weeks.
/mab
Doc.
