III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />A partial inspection of <br />Christine Johnston of the <br />still lightly snowing whe <br />six inches of snow on the <br />inspection. When I began <br />skies were partly cloudy. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />the O.C. No. 2 Mine was completed by <br />Division. It snowed overnight and was <br />~ I arrived at the site. The spillway appears clear, <br />only snow covered. <br />BACKFILL AND GRADING <br />The mine portal backfill begins approximately 25 feet back from the <br />portal entrance. Additional backfill material should be placed in <br />the entry to completely backfill the opening. The fan portal <br />backfill begins approximately 10-15 feet back from the portal <br />entrance. Additional backfill material should also be placed in <br />the entry to completely backfill the opening. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES <br />The electric fence was not strung up across the entrance to the <br />mine site. At the time of the inspection, no cattle were grazing <br />in or around the site. The power poles still go into the site as <br />they have not been removed by the utility company. <br />oozoc.i <br />
