I was contacted
by Mr. Harry Castle on August 22, 1999, and I first visited the site with Iv9r. Castle to gain an
overview of the situation on August 23, 1999.
I believe that we can find positive solutions to the identified problems; however, since I
amjust coming on board, and I will need some time to become fully familiar with the situation
and develop solutions to the necessary items outlined in your report and letter.
On behalf of Walker Mining and Milling Company, I an requesting an extension of the
August 29, 1999 deadline to September 15, 1999 for items 3, and 4 as outlined in your August
18, 1999 letter. I am also requesting an on-site meeting to review the concerns that you have
identified and discuss possible solutions appropriate for this site. 1 would like to request that we
meet at the Mine site on September 2, 1999 at 10:00 a.m.
