ORIGINAL-PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: ti+-i9s;n-gee <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~/~4%n5 INSPECTORCS INITIALS: ~- <br />OBSERVATION <br />The Division conducted a bi monthly monitoring inspection of the site on <br />4/14/05. <br />Inspected the wild horse/ East Cresson area, it was not active at the time <br />of inspection. As reported in earlier inspection reports, the Phase I <br />portion of the East Cresson mine is completely backfilled, Slopes stable, <br />no problem noted. Inspected the Crusher area, it was undergoing routine <br />maintenance, <br />Inspected the phase I, II, III AND IV leach pad areas and collected the <br />following readings from the Hhigh and Low volume solution collection <br />transducers. <br />Phase I high Volume Solution Collection transducer # 2 was recorded at 31. <br />and # 3 was at 30.1. Low volume transducer # 1 was recorded at .29 and # 2 <br />was at .52. Piezometer for the pond was at 34.5 feet. <br />Phase II and III high Volume Solution Collection Transducer # 4 was at 31. <br /># 5 was at 31.0 and # 6 was at 31.9. Low volume transducer # 1 was at .15 <br />and # 2 was at.59. Piezometer for the pond was recorded at 32.5 feet, <br />Phase IV High Volume Solution Collection Transducer # 7 was recorded at <br />14.2 # 8 was at 13.2 # 9 was at 14.1 and # 10 was at 14.S.Low volume <br />solution collection transducer # 1 was at 8.9 and # 2 was 6.9 inches of <br />hydrostatic head. <br />Inspected the External pond, it was holding frozen water covered with the <br />fresh snow from the night before. While in the area, collected the <br />following readings from the low volume solution collection transducers. # <br />was recorded at 13.4 and # 2 was at 11.2 inches of hydrostatic head. (All <br />other readings are in feet of hydrostatic head unless noted otherwise <br />4 <br />0 <br />1 <br />noted) <br />Inspected the under drain discharge area, all three ponds were holding what <br />appeared to be partially frozen water from the recent precipitation, the <br />area received, no problem noted. Both the South and 4 inches pipes were <br />discharging.
