Compliance with Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act <br />CRS 1973, as amended 34-33-101, et. secy., <br />and the <br />Rules and Regulations Issued Pursuant to the Act <br />This includes a listing of the particular provisions of the regulatory program which were <br />examined during the course of this inspection, and identifies enforcement actions taken <br />during the inspection for failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations, the Act and <br />the permit. <br />Rule 4.02 - Signs and Markers <br />Permanent markers and mine identification signs are in compliance. <br />Rule 4.03 - Roads <br />The access/haul road to the mine appeared to be in compliance. <br />Rule 4..05 - Hydrologic Balance <br />Snow cover in the sedimentation pond prohibited the inspectors from determining whether or <br />not the dewatering device had been cleared as rquired by the February inspection. <br />Rule 4.06 - Topsoil <br />Topsoil stockpile appears to be in compliance. <br />Rule 4.12 - Slides and Other Damage <br />No significant slides were noted during this inspection. <br />Rule 4.15 - Revegetation <br />The sedimentation pond, diversion ditches, and topsoil stockpile reseeded in the Fall of <br />1980. Revegetation success will be assessed during the Summer of 1981. <br />Rule 4.20 -Subsidence Control <br />No subsidence problems were evidenced during this inspection. <br />Rule 4.24 - Operations on Alluvial Valley Floors <br />Mine appears to be operating adjacent to an Alluvial Valley Floor. <br />
