Redamatlon of the sloe was conlrscbed by DMG. <br />~tt41124 <br />The reclaimed Orphan Pit slopes wero stable. Some erosion continues in the main drainage channel, <br />but the rate of degredation has not accelerated, and deviously eroded porliona of the channel are <br />becoming vegetated. The duck pond end tipple arose were stable and in good condftlon. <br />East and West Pfls <br />Erosion on reclaimed areas contnuas m be problematlc, MACt gullies reaching 2-3 feet depth. The <br />mein east pit channel had downcut ekrce Iast hrepected, as had >he east/weat drainage of the east ptt <br />The eest/west dreinage has downcut to a depth of appro>dmetey &10 feet, wlth a top wldlh of <br />approximately 15 feet. Most of the erosion control fabric In the drainage has been ripped out by the <br />heavy }Iowa through the drainage. This dreinage crosses the albs access road, and has resulted in a <br />nanowar roadway where headd~tdng on the lower aide of the road has occurred. <br />Areas between rUls end gullies are falrty well vegetated. Greases were starting !b tum green in <br />response m recent predpitation everts. <br />The eedlmentation pond was silted In, but flows had cut a channel through the sediment delta end out <br />of the pond. Dretnege from the reclaimed area la not elfecUvey treated prior to discharge otralte. The <br />roadside ditch was in poor conditlon, and dowrxxrlllng and widening of the ditch has narrowed the <br />driving surface of the road. <br />
